May Gardeners’ Digest–Two Peas blog hop…

Good morning! Welcome to May’s edition of the Gardner’s Digest! If you’re following along from the beginning, you should have just arrived from Nancy’s fun blog…if you’re just joining us, welcome – either way – enjoy the hop!!

To start off, I wanted to share a recent project that went up in the garden earlier this month – I haven’t blogged about it yet, so I thought today was the perfect day to share it!

An 8 1/2” x 11” layout featuring lots of little photos of my kiddos and their cousins – hanging out at Grandpa & Grandma’s house one Sunday afternoon..doing what all cousins should do – playing together!!

I also shared a fun tip for creating the little patterned chevrons  I used on my layout…

There are so many great products I’m having fun with right now…here are five that are on my list of current faves!

The long-awaited “9 to 5” collection has finally arrived in the Two Peas store!  I love the 8x8 paper pads by October Afternoon…a great way to get a lot of bang for your buck!

I know…these are from the same collection as the paper pad – but I just LOVE (yes, in all CAPS) these cute little journaling cards!

Okay, seriously…for a life-long office supply junkie, these new arrow paper clips from Kikkerland are a MUST!  I can’t wait to use these on a layout!!

And if I’m going to use the clips…you can bet I’m going to need these fun arrow sticky notes too!!

  

I know that’s kind of cheating for my 5th pick…but I just couldn’t decide between these two new collections from Echo Park - Sweet Day and Paradise Beach.  Hoenstly, I love them BOTH so so so much!!

As I look through the gallery at Two Peas, I am always spotting fun layouts that inspire me in different ways.  Here’s a recent example:

It seems I find myself stopping and clicking to see MORE when I come across a layout by Cleosmum.  Her style is very different than my own, yet I find myself studying her layouts every time I see them.  I love the little details she adds, while maintaining such a crisp clean style!  Check out her gallery (HERE) - I bet you’ll find yourself feeling creatively inspired as well!
